About Nick

Nick is a Freelance AEA Stage Manager from North Carolina, who started his theatre career during high school. He first worked on run crew for a show, and was asked to join the next show as an Assistant Stage Manager. He enjoys learning new things and his education and experience has led him to learn many parts of technical theatre, from basic stitching and puppetry, lighting design and electrics, scenic painting and construction, projections, and finally Production Management. Always eager for an opportunity to learn new information and skills, Nick views himself as a generalist (who happens to specialize in Stage Management).

Nick enjoys cultivating a supportive and inclusive work environment that lets everyone focus their creative energy towards the collaborative art form that brings everyone together. His love for theatre comes from watching the incredible passionate artists around him thrive, and he works tirelessly to support and encourage them in any way he can, often in unseen ways. His calm nature makes him great problem solver under pressure, and his positive attitude helps him to see the best in tough situations. He uses his wide range of experience to help communicate efficiently with actors, crew members, directors, designers, and administrators alike to make the most of every day.
